DPM Recoil Reduction System for Staccato C & C2 Pistols
DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System for Staccato C & C2 3.9? Bull Barrel – 9mm
This DPM Mechanical system functions through a multi-spring intricate rod (three springs) that controls the pistol's functionality. The third spring, contained within the rod, manages the slide's movement, preventing it from ramming the frame.
The system includes:
- 1 Bushing
- 1 Spacer
- 4 external springs of varying lengths and tensions
The Spring Plug must always be installed when using the DPM Recoil Rod and springs.
The external springs vary in length and tension. The long spring is heavier, while the short spring is lighter, allowing the shooter to fine-tune the pistol's opening and locking positions (slide on the battery) according to personal standards.
The active springs offer additional buffering to the mechanism, a new innovation by DPM Systems.
The 2 black-coated springs have a wire diameter of 1.1mm and are stronger than the 2 silver and gold-coated springs with a wire diameter of 1mm.
The spacer is optional and adds approximately +2.5 lb to the system's total force for each spring.
Power Rates:
Slide on the battery (idle position)
- Gold Short Spring (1.0mm): 6.2 lb
- Silver Long Spring (1.0mm): 7.3 lb
- Black Short Spring (1.1mm): 7 lb
- Black Long Spring (1.1mm): 8.15 lb
Total force (Slide full open position) approx.:
- Gold Short Spring (1.0mm): 12 lb
- Silver Long Spring (1.0mm): 13.2 lb
- Black Short Spring (1.1mm): 14.3 lb
- Black Long Spring (1.1mm): 15.4 lb
Overall Advantages:
- Faster follow-up shots
- Improved firing speed
- Slide and Frame Protection
- Elimination of jams
- Significant recoil reduction
- Better double-tap concentration
- Better control and greater accuracy
