The DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System for the 1911 Government 5? Barrel & Clones, available in the Black Oxide Version, is designed to enhance the performance of your pistol.
This system operates through a multi-spring intricate rod, consisting of three springs, which effectively controls the functionality of the pistol. The third spring, contained within the rod, manages the slide's movement, preventing it from ramming into the frame.
The package includes one spring plug and three different external springs. It is essential to always install the spring plug when using the DPM Recoil Rod and springs.
The external springs vary in length: the long spring is heavy, and the short spring is light. This allows the shooter to fine-tune the pistol's performance during the opening and locking positions (slide on the battery).
