Rather than just offering a direct replacement for the OEM pins, the Strike Industries’ Pin kits for GLOCK™ feature an anti-walk locking block pin. We noticed that with particularly heavy use, and heavy recoil firearms, the locking block pin had a tendency to walk out, leading to failure. While the trigger pin is captured, the locking block pin is only retained through friction with OEM parts. With frequent servicing, the pin holes can be damaged through wear over time. The SI Anti-walk locking block pin engages the slide stop lever spring in a similar way to the trigger pin to help prevent walk out. To preserve the frame, the pins are concave at the ends to support a pin punch and prevent slippage and mitigate potential damage to this critical area. For those that don’t require detail stripping of their firearms regularly, they can be color filled to add another degree of customization to stand out from the crowd.
