The DPM Telescopic Recoil Reduction System is a direct replacement for the stock recoil rod and does not change the configuration of the pistol. This system works due to the multi-spring intricate rod (3 springs) and efficiently utilizes the small internal space of subcompact pistols.
The 3 springs of the system are aligned and gradually compressed to offer an elastic effect on the slide travel and control the movement of the slide, ensuring it never rams on the frame. The system includes 2 external springs, each with different power rates, with the longer spring always being the stronger. This allows the shooter to fine-tune the pistol recoil with different types of ammunition according to personal standards.
