The DPM Recoil Reduction System is designed to enhance the performance of the Beretta Cougar 8000F. It features a multi-spring intricate rod with three springs, which in some cases, provides almost double the force in the slide at the end of the full open position compared to the factory OEM spring. This system functions like a buffer on the slide, allowing it to stop smoothly on the frame and reducing recoil. As a result, the moving parts of the pistol are protected, extending the pistol's lifespan.
