9mm Silent Captured Spring (SCS) is a drop-in recoil system designed to refine the performance of your AR-platform 9mm carbine. By softening felt recoil and reducing cycling noise and vibration, it transforms your rifle into a smoother, more enjoyable firearm to shoot. Paired with the JP 9mm bolt assembly, this system delivers unmatched reliability in 9mm operation.

Short Stroke Version provides the same reliable buffering as our other 9mm SCS models but with a shorter overall stroke. Specifically designed for competitive shooters, this version offers faster cycling with even less felt recoil, giving you every possible edge in performance.

However, note that due to its reduced travel, the short stroke SCS will not actuate the bolt catch on 9mm carbine receivers unless paired with the current version of the JP 9mm bolt assembly. However, the superior cycling and recoil management more than compensate for this trade-off, especially in competition use.
